As Founding GTM, you define how opus goes to market working side by side with the CEO and COO. You own pipeline: improving the process from discovery to closing, hitting ARR targets, and running the best sales process. With real customers using the product and real revenue on the board, your job is to support the founders in closing pipeline, then take it over yourself.
What you'll do
- Be in the room from day one in enterprise customer conversations with Europe's industrial giants: prepare them, be part of them, own the follow-through.
- Build the materials deals turn on: decks, business cases, follow-ups tailored to stakeholders at enterprise buyer quality levels.
- Make opus presence professional on-site at customer offices, trade fairs, and buyer workshops, ensuring opus is the best-prepared party in the room.
- Optimize the funnel end to end: discovery, qualification, demo, close—find where deals stall, run experiments, and lift the numbers that matter.
- Build the founding GTM squad by bringing in the first Account Executives, setting the bar, running reviews, and giving hard feedback.
- Run every deal like a project with discipline on where deals stand, what unlocks the next step, and what's blocking the close.
- Make each customer a proof point through references, case studies, testimonials, and joint appearances.
- Sharpen ICP week over week by tightening which industries, company sizes, personas, and pain points to focus on.
What you'll need
- 1 to 3 years in consulting, B2B/enterprise software sales, or similar with hands-on experience carrying ARR closed and running complex projects end to end.
- Builder mindset—you write playbooks, not follow them; you've designed outbound from scratch and know the difference between activity and output.
- Category thinker experience selling or building GTM for something the market didn't have a name for yet; you co-create with industrial enterprises.
- Proven ability to attract and develop other strong commercial hires and have hard conversations with peers.
- Industrial DNA: fluent selling to industrial enterprises with knowledge of procurement cycles, budget timing, and multi-stakeholder sign-off.
- Native German and strong professional English (C1+) for both customer calls and investor-grade content.
What they offer
- Competitive compensation with meaningful equity.
- High ownership with fast customer feedback and responsibility for outcomes.
- AI-first builder environment with the best tools and bias to ship and learn.
- Berlin-Mitte office with ambitious team and low ego.
- 28 vacation days and flexibility.
