A 12-month structured training program combining the strategic rigor of top consultancy with the speed and ownership of a fast-growing B2B AI startup. You expand Mercanis into the UK market, learning to develop and execute complex B2B sales strategies and grow into an Account Executive ready to lead market expansion.

What you'll do

  • Phase 1: Conduct market and product deep dives, analyze buying journeys and stakeholder structures, understand SaaS economics, shadow senior AEs in C-level negotiations, and support target group analysis and messaging development
  • Phase 2: Own your lead segment, develop data-driven account strategies, execute strategic outbound and lead generation, run discovery calls using MEDDIC and BANT, optimize outreach performance through A/B testing, and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product and Customer Success
  • Phase 3: Take full-cycle ownership of complex deals from cold outreach to signature, navigate multi-stakeholder organizations, develop business cases and ROI calculations, run systematic pipeline management and deal strategy
  • Phase 4: Move to London with a full UK territory, strategic accounts, and complete ownership of your GTM strategy and outbound pipeline

What you'll need

  • Above-average bachelor's or master's degree in business, economics, engineering, psychology or comparable field
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with ability to grasp, structure and act on complex situations quickly
  • Early exposure to a demanding environment such as top-tier internship in consulting, investment banking, startup, or corporate
  • Intrinsic motivation and ownership mentality with desire to understand how business works
  • Excellent communication skills presenting complex topics in structured and persuasive way in English
  • Resilience and growth mindset, seeing challenges as learning opportunities
  • Proactive personality approaching people and building relationships
  • Readiness to commit to Berlin first to master the craft before the market

Nice to have

  • Early experience in sales, business development, consulting or strategy
  • Affinity for B2B software, procurement or supply chain management
  • Feel for building trust and developing strategic relationships
