Working Student Analytics Engineering

Join thermondo as a Working Student Analytics Engineering to help answer data-related questions from business stakeholders across all departments. You'll build dashboards in Looker, conduct ad hoc analyses, monitor data quality, and contribute to our data dictionary.

What you'll do

• Answer data-related questions from business stakeholders across all departments
• Build new dashboards and improve existing dashboards in Looker
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and translate data requests into clear results
• Monitor data quality and work closely with our Analytics Engineers
• Document KPIs and data sources, and contribute to our data dictionary
• Write basic SQL queries for data exploration and analysis

What you'll need

• Enrolled in a data-related or analytical degree programme such as Data Science, Business Informatics, Statistics, Economics or a comparable field, with at least two semesters remaining
• SQL basics: understand basic syntax, filtering, JOINs and aggregations
• BI experience: have worked with a BI or reporting tool such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI
• Ability to prepare analysis results clearly and explain them to non-technical stakeholders
• Use tools such as Gemini or Claude in a practical way to support analysis, research or problem-solving
• Initial practical experience with smaller data-related tasks and ability to structure your work with limited guidance
• German at least B1 level and English at C1 level
