Talon.One is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Operations Manager to lead the optimization of sales operations, drive revenue growth, and refine sales processes. Reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations, this is a business critical role that influences the success of Talon.One's sales strategy and execution.
What you'll do
- Manage the sales forecast rhythm, working closely with Global Sales Leadership to ensure accurate and timely forecasts supported by strong pipeline management and deal qualification practices
- Oversee commission strategy, evaluating and refining commission plans, implementing them in the automation system, and managing the monthly close and payout process
- Work with Sales Leadership to define KPIs, maintain sales dashboards, and provide insights to drive performance optimization
- Identify sales process inefficiencies by building rapport with individual Sellers and implementing solutions to improve day-to-day effectiveness
- Own the Quote-to-Cash process, ensuring smooth configuration in CPQ, streamlined workflows in CLM, and seamless integration with Finance's billing system
- Build the deal desk function, managing deal structuring, pricing approvals, and contract reviews while collaborating with sales, legal, and finance teams to accelerate deal velocity
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field
- 6+ years of sales operations experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce and other sales tech stack tools (Sales Engagement, CPQ, Forecasting, etc.)
- Expertise in designing and administering sales commission plans, with knowledge of tools like Xactly, Spiff, CaptivateIQ, or similar
- Extensive experience in deal desk management, including pricing approvals, deal structuring, and contract oversight
- Strong analytical mindset, with advanced Excel skills
- Prior experience in a SaaS or technology company is required
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at all levels
