Platform Associate

As Platform Associate, you'll play a central role in helping our founders experience Point Nine — from founder onboarding and ecosystem partnerships to large founder summits, curated dinners, newsletters, and online community touchpoints. This is a hands-on, highly operational role with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.

What you'll do

• Create exceptional founder experiences by designing and delivering thoughtful, high-value experiences for our founders and community, online and offline.
• Plan and run events from Founder Summits, dinners, and masterclasses to university initiatives and broader ecosystem events — owning logistics and on-site execution from start to finish.
• Keep things organised by tracking timelines, managing budgets, maintaining systems (CRM etc.), coordinating founder onboarding, and improving workflows.
• Manage ecosystem partnerships by building and maintaining relationships with leading technology partners and helping our portfolio companies access relevant tools and opportunities.
• Contribute across content and communications by supporting founder communications and community storytelling across newsletters, social channels, and other channels.
• Improve systems and processes by noticing inefficiencies and continuously helping evolve how the platform team operates.
• Support the Director of Platform across broader projects while independently owning many initiatives yourself.

What you'll need

• A few years of experience in a fast-paced environment — startups, venture capital, community or ecosystem roles, or early-stage operations.
• Genuine excitement about startups, technology, and the founder journey.
• Highly organised and operationally strong with a love for making things happen.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and high standards for execution.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset, comfortable taking ownership in a small team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience running events, managing partnerships, or building communities from the ground up.
