Chief of Staff

Chief of Staff to help steer Planet A through its next chapter. This role keeps the vision alive in the day-to-day, ensuring the fund stays sharp internally and visible externally. You will work closely with the management team as the strategic right hand to the Partners, moving seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

What you'll do

• Work closely with the Partners on strategy, investment thesis development, and fund-level initiatives
• Help maintain and strengthen relationships with LPs and network members, ensuring high-quality, consistent communication
• Own the quality of LP-facing materials end to end, including quarterly updates, AGM decks, DDQ responses, and data-room documents
• Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing improvements across internal processes and fund infrastructure
• Own the planning and execution of key LP events, founder retreats, strategy off-sites, ecosystem gatherings, and new thematic initiatives
• Help make Planet A an AI-native fund: identify where AI can create leverage across the organization and help the team adopt new ways of working

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment (e.g. VC, startups, strategy consulting, or similar), with a deep understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship
• Exacting standard on written work—presentations, LP updates, AGM materials, and internal documentation are correct, clean, and decision-ready the first time
• Understanding of how a VC fund operates: fund mechanics, LP reporting cycles, quarterly LP meetings, DDQs, and the investment committee process
• Genuine curiosity about AI in a fund context and excitement to understand and drive adoption of new tools and workflows across the team
• Entrepreneurial spirit and high agency—you spot opportunities, create structure, and know when to pull others in
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to align people across functions, personalities, and priorities
