About the role

As Chief of Staff / Founders Associate, you work side by side with the CEO to turn high-level vision into things that actually happen. You operate at the intersection of growth, hiring, finance, ops, and expansion — owning the most important problems nobody else can own yet. Think of this as a founder residency: you'll see how a category-defining AI company gets built from the inside, and shape it while you do.

What you'll do

• Founder force multiplier — when the founders aren't in the room, you are. You carry the context, make the call, keep things moving.
• Build the operating system — create cadences, processes and communication loops that let the company scale without losing what makes it dangerous.
• Run the hiring engine — build the plan, run the process, and make sure the next 20 hires raise the bar. You close them yourself when it matters.
• Manage finances and KPIs — handle reporting, budgeting, and trajectory so the founders and board see a clear picture at all times.
• Own strategic projects — new market entry, pricing architecture, agent deployment support, partnership structures. Take ambiguous, high-stakes work from zero to done, fast.
• Lead fundraising and investor relations — own the process from data rooms to narratives to investor updates.

What you'll need

• 2+ years in high-intensity environments — top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, a VC-backed startup that moved fast, or founder experience.
• Ruthlessly structured — bring order to chaos by building systems that make speed sustainable.
• Strategy meets spreadsheet — zoom from market positioning to financial modeling. Fluent in P&L, SaaS metrics, unit economics.
• Sharp communicator — turn complex AI concepts and financial data into narratives that land across board decks, investor updates, and team meetings.
• High agency — you don't wait for a playbook, you write it. Ambiguity energizes you.
• AI-native by default — use AI tools daily and have a point of view on how a category-defining AI company should operate internally.
• Fluent in English and German (C1+) — Berlin-based role for investor and enterprise customer conversations.
