As an Operations Manager, you are the operational engine for a group of Numa properties. Your mission is to work with and lead a team of on-site Operations Coordinators to flawlessly execute our brand and operational standards, bringing your properties to the next level and ensuring our guests have consistently exceptional stays.
What you'll do
- Define and drive data-led gameplans: Analyze operational metrics, guest feedback, and maintenance logs to identify trends, optimize daily processes, and direct your team's attention to where it is needed most.
- Elevate quality standards: Own quality and act as the ultimate quality control for your properties. Lead weekly meetings with external partners to ensure high standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and brand consistency are rigorously executed across all locations.
- Execute capex and facility management projects: Take responsibility for the physical health of your buildings. You oversee preventative maintenance programmes, execute property improvement projects, and manage relationships with landlords and external contractors.
- Lead and empower the team: Manage, coach, and guide a team of Operations Coordinators. Ensure they have the tools, structure, and support needed to execute their daily on-site tasks flawlessly.
- Cross-functional execution: Act as the bridge between your ground team and central departments, ensuring company-wide initiatives are rolled out smoothly and local insights are shared.
- Manage finances: Support the financial health of your properties. Approve invoices, manage operational budgets, and collaborate with financial controllers to ensure accurate P&Ls and expense tracking.
What you'll need
- English fluency (C1+ required).
- Strong people skills with the ability to coach, structure, and motivate a distributed, hands-on team.
- A highly analytical approach with the ability to look at numbers and translate them into practical action to lift quality and enhance efficiency.
- Experience managing operational budgets, approving invoices, and understanding the building blocks of a financially healthy operation.
- A hands-on mentality—you are comfortable being away from the desk and out interacting with the physical product, and willing to get your hands dirty when required.
- Calm under pressure with a resilient demeanor in challenging situations.
- Previous experience in hospitality management, operations, or facility management, with a track record of guiding or overseeing a team.
What they offer
- Opportunities for professional growth and development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Complimentary stay at Numa properties and exclusive discounts for friends and family.
- Access to inspiring team-building events connecting you with a global community of colleagues.
