Legal

You will build and lead our legal function as we develop new products, enter partnerships, and grow the company. Nomos operates in a heavily regulated industry and we take that responsibility seriously.

What you'll do

• Lead negotiations and own our contracts with partners, grid operators, and service providers.
• Own regulatory compliance and consumer protection, anticipating changes that affect our products and plans.
• Manage legal work across financing rounds, employment, and technology, coordinating specialist counsel where needed.
• Decide which work to bring in-house, where we need external counsel, and what we can standardise or automate.
• Understand how new products change our obligations to households, agreements with partners, and software requirements.

What you'll need

• State exam or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience handling complex legal work in energy, another regulated industry, or a company that grew fast.
• Ability to explain your recommendation and the reasoning behind it.
• Attention to detail in definitions, cross-references, and exceptions in legal documents.
• Fluent in German and English, able to negotiate and draft precise legal documents in either language.
