Lead/Staff Product Engineer

As a Lead/Staff Product Engineer, you will be a technical anchor for the team, helping transition the platform from reactive tools to proactive workflows across the entire employee lifecycle by designing intelligent systems that tap into user context to deliver AI and non-AI supported features.

What you'll do

• Partner with product and design as a technical peer — shaping scope, challenging assumptions, and influencing the roadmap to ensure strategy solves real user problems.
• Design and build robust, scalable applications, integrating LLM-driven agents and RAG pipelines capable of carrying out complex workflows autonomously across the entire platform ecosystem.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of complex traditional full-stack features and multi-agent AI workflows, making high-level architectural decisions using Vue.js, Node.js, and MongoDB.
• Architect secure data pipelines and robust access management systems to safely handle sensitive employee and company data.
• Analyze agent performance analytics, workforce insights, and process outcomes to refine features iteratively.
• Drive engineering excellence and mentorship by contributing to testing, monitoring, and code review processes, while pioneering AI evaluation suites and safety fallbacks.

What you'll need

• Significant experience leading end-to-end product development as a tech lead, founding engineer, or senior IC at a high-growth company.
• Operate confidently as a full-stack engineer with deep expertise in modern web frameworks (Vue.js, React) and backend technologies (Node.js, MongoDB).
• Proven, hands-on experience building and shipping both standard web applications and LLM-powered applications (multi-agent orchestration, RAG pipelines) to production.
• Established experience utilizing modern AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code) and AI-driven code review tools as a core force multiplier.
• Understanding of how to build secure access management for enterprise data.
• Product mindset with passion for solving user problems with impactful, scalable solutions.

What they offer
