About the role

As part of a cross-functional team in the Heartbeat Tech domain, you will focus on coordinating our heat pump integration and optimization roadmap end to end to build the best heat pump experience in the market. You will coordinate our Integrations Team, manage our partner network, draft requirements for their software and hardware solutions, and engage in root cause analyses to provide high platform stability.

What you'll do

• Have an overarching view of all heat pump optimization topics and how they fit into the overall Heartbeat technology stack. Track and report all workstreams upwards and downwards and ensure alignment with workstreams from other teams.
• Take an active role in supporting the software delivery process, focusing on rolling out heat pump optimization solutions and gathering requirements. Ensure smooth coordination with local and international teams to address individual market needs and work directly with heat pump OEMs around their interfaces.
• Drive the definition, implementation, evaluation, deployment, and enhancement of heat pump optimization solutions for complex problems. Promote best practices and maintain high technical standards while thinking critically on what could be done better.
• Contribute to fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation within the team to continuously improve our products and processes. Drive these initiatives together with internal and external stakeholders towards rapid execution.
• Act as a point of contact for our heat pump OEM partners, supporting efforts to adapt and integrate their solutions with our systems.

What you'll need

• Proven experience in managing complex technical projects that span the intersection of hardware and software products
• Broad knowledge of various communication protocols typical for the renewable energy and HVAC markets like Modbus, EEBUS, etc.
• Excitement to perform root cause analyses for existing issues, diving deep into the technical implementation of specific heat pump integrations
• Passion for maintaining a well-documented knowledge base to share information across the organisation
• Experience or highly passionate about building innovative energy market solutions
• Fun in solving technical challenges together with internal and external partners while owning the project execution
• Very strong written and spoken English and German skills

Nice to have

• Experience with EEBUS and Modbus TCP hardware integration
• Experience with field installations of heat pumps
• Experience building software products specifically for heat pumps
