E-Commerce Manager Shopify

As E-Commerce Manager Shopify, you will work independently on the maintenance and development of our online shops. You keep an eye on the latest trends and ideas and want to implement them.

What you'll do

• Develop our Shopify shops continuously – from product detail pages to collections to shop search – and ensure everything runs technically smoothly.
• Prepare product launches, promotional and landing pages, maintain content and images, and coordinate smooth go-lives with the team.
• Work closely with the Performance team, permanently implement A/B tests in the shop, and learn to correctly interpret test results.
• Monitor key shop metrics such as conversion rate, sessions, and dwell time, and derive optimization ideas for user guidance and product presentation.
• Follow current e-commerce and Shopify trends and bring your own ideas on how to automate recurring tasks with AI tools instead of handling them manually.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders from marketing and customer service, and coordinate external development agencies and UX designers.

What you'll need

• Completed degree (e.g., Business Administration, BWL, Business Informatics or similar) or comparable training with practical e-commerce experience – ideally Shopify experience.
• Good technical understanding, willingness to independently familiarize yourself with new tools, and confidence to quickly navigate an existing Shopify environment.
• Strong numerical affinity and preference for data-driven decision-making.
• Structured, careful, and detail-oriented work style, even when managing multiple topics simultaneously.
• Enthusiasm for actively using modern AI tools to accelerate routine tasks.
• Very good Excel or Google Sheets skills and excellent German language proficiency.
• Team player who can also independently, reliably, and solution-oriented implement projects.
