Corporate Communications Manager

As a Corporate Communications Manager, you will play a central role in shaping Raisin's corporate narrative on a global scale with a strong focus on Germany. You will take ownership of corporate topics, drive innovation, and act as a reliable point of contact for the media.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of corporate and macroeconomic topics, positioning the company as a thought leader in the industry.
• Analyze internal and external data to craft interesting stories, unique angles, and compelling narratives that capture media attention.
• Create and maintain a full editorial calendar to ensure consistent planning, alignment, and execution.
• Be accountable for projects focused on introducing and developing new external communication formats (e.g., industry reports, executive positioning, creative campaigns) to engage target audiences.
• Serve as a dedicated point of contact for the media, meeting with journalists regularly to pitch stories and build long-lasting relationships.
• Actively build, nurture, and manage relationships with key internal executives and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and cohesive messaging.
• Draft high-quality corporate materials, including press releases, briefing documents, statements, and opinion pieces.
• Monitor the financial media landscape and competitive activity to surface PR opportunities and proactively manage potential risks to reputation.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant professional experience in corporate communications, PR, or journalism.
• Excellent communications skills, written and spoken, in both German and English.
• Strong background in the fintech, finance, or high-growth startup scene.
• Proven ability to build trust and strong relationships with both internal management and external partners.
• Highly analytical with a knack for turning dry data into exciting, newsworthy stories.
• Confident spokesperson with a proactive approach to building press relationships and pitching to the media.

Nice to have

• An existing, warm network of media contacts (especially within DACH financial, tech, or business media).
• Practical experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools for communications, content creation, and video generation.
• Experience handling executive communications or CEO positioning.
