Head of Financial Systems Transformation

Lead the transformation of financial processes and implementation of AI in Taxfix financial systems infrastructure. This architectural role focuses on improving core operational finance processes through automation and best-in-class practices, defining and owning the financial systems infrastructure roadmap end-to-end while embedding automation and AI into how financial systems operate at Taxfix.

What you'll do

• Map the current finance systems landscape across all Taxfix countries, identify improvement areas, and design the target architecture - owning integration patterns, data flows, and system boundaries across the full stack
• Drive the transformation of core finance processes through AI & automation and integration of best-in-class tooling across systems spanning revenue recognition, accounting, treasury, and billing - from vendor selection through to go-live
• Make AI-powered automation a first-order priority, identify the highest-leverage opportunities across the controllership, and build up integrated core workflows
• Define and sequence the multi-year finance transformation roadmap, balancing strategic ambition with pragmatic delivery, resilience, scalability and cost effectiveness
• Build a systems architecture that meets institutional-grade standards: robust controls, clean audit trails, and access governance expected of a mature, regulated business
• Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Engineering, Product, and external partners - translating finance requirements into technical reality
• Lead system oversight and control across finance systems and strategically govern and document key processes - in particular monthly closing and chargebacks
• Lead a dedicated and highly motivated team through this transformation

What you'll need

• 10+ years of relevant experience spanning finance operations and finance systems such as billing platforms or payments infrastructure, with deep ERP implementation and change expertise
• Proven experience integrating, migrating or upgrading ERP platforms with multiple vendors and strategic partners, with focus on subscription systems
• Track record owning AP/AR automation and treasury system implementations, including integration design
• Genuine fluency with AI in a finance context - you know how to separate hype from leverage and have built automation that stood the test of time
• Strong controllership knowledge across accounting close, consolidation, VAT, inter-company transactions
• Proven ownership of technological systems across high-stakes, time-sensitive change projects and workflow automation in multi-entity environments
