Join the Central Marketing Creative Team at SumUp, which shapes the visual identity of a brand trusted by over 4 million small businesses across 37 markets. You'll report directly to the Head of Brand and Marketing Design and work day-to-day alongside designers, campaign managers, content strategists, and channel specialists.
What you'll do
- Produce and adapt marketing assets across paid, organic, and owned channels, including resizes, format variations, and channel-specific executions, working within SumUp's visual identity system
- Support the team with reactive creative requests across campaigns, events, internal comms, and marketing design execution
- Contribute to employer brand content across LinkedIn, careers pages, and recruiting collateral, aligned to the new brand identity
- Run lightweight brand QA checks on marketing and internal materials before they ship, flagging inconsistencies early
- Support the localisation and implementation of asset sets in Contentful, in collaboration with a senior designer
- Contribute to the development and documentation of scalable design templates for use across the business
- Help keep our Brand Standards Portal current as guidelines evolve and organise our brand and marketing design assets in our Digital Asset Management system
What you'll need
- Studying or recently graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Brand Design, or a related creative field
- Hands-on proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong foundation in typography, composition, and colour theory, and ability to apply a visual identity system consistently across formats
- Organised and rigorous with digital files: naming conventions, folder structures, asset libraries, at a level that others can rely on
- Sharp eye for detail and notice inconsistencies in type, colour, spacing, and layout
- Take ownership of work, flag blockers early, and follow through without needing to be chased
- Genuine curiosity about brand strategy, not just how things look, but why
Nice to have
- Experience with a Digital Asset Management tool (Canto or similar)
- Familiarity with Figma library management or component automation
- Experience with a CMS, particularly Contentful
- Exposure to employer brand, social media, or marketing content production
What they offer
- 28 days of paid leave, plus bank holidays and special leaves
- Annual L&D budget for conferences and further education
- Private health insurance, including optical and dental
- Retirement scheme (SumUp matches 7% when you contribute 5%)
- Life insurance from MetLife for 2x your salary
- 1-month sabbatical after 3 years of service
