Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (Network)

The Network Engineering team is part of the Core Tribe, which manages the cloud platform that underpins Scalable's entire infrastructure. The team delivers all core network services at scale, leveraging the latest cloud-native technologies and maintaining highly available connections to external partners.

What you'll do

• Design, maintain, and operate multiple cloud networks on AWS, providing a secure and highly available environment for our internal development teams
• Improve Scalable's cloud infrastructure and automation using AWS, Terraform, and Python
• Ensure high-availability connectivity for our most critical applications and partner integrations
• Support, guide and empower our engineering teams to further strengthen our DevOps culture

What you'll need

• Experience with core AWS networking services, such as: VPC, ELB, PrivateLink, Route 53
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
• Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language
• A degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering, sciences) or work experience in a role that typically requires a university degree
• Ability to communicate effectively and concisely in an international English-speaking environment

Nice to have

• Experience with broader AWS services, network management, and network troubleshooting
• A passion for automating and improving processes while keeping security and reliability in mind
