As a Product Manager in PPRO's Local Payments Domain, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the payment experiences for our customers and partners, ensuring seamless, compliant, and efficient access to local payment methods. You will drive product discovery and delivery, working at the intersection of Engineering, Marketing, Risk, and Commercial teams to enable seamless adoption of local payment methods to some of the world's leading fintechs, PSPs, and merchants.
What you'll do
- Execute and inform our product strategy for our local payments portfolio from scheme engagement to product feature development and market launch.
- Drive product discovery and delivery - collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to develop innovative, "Better-than-direct" payment experiences that drive value for our business and customers.
- Develop and optimise the payments product portfolio that balances scheme requirements, financial efficiency, and high success rates for consumers and merchants.
- Work hands-on with data - analyze key business opportunities and success metrics related to payment acceptance rates, scheme performance, and financial flow efficiency to drive meaningful outcomes.
- Define clear success metrics and KPIs to measure payment method efficiency, automate reporting, and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally – work closely with Compliance, Risk, Sales, and Customer Success teams to refine payment requirements, implement new features, and understand business needs.
What you'll need
- Proven experience owning a product or feature set, leading product discovery, and executing successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with data, define KPIs, and drive decisions based on insights rather than intuition.
- Experience working with APIs, automation tools, and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
- Ability to deeply understand user needs and translate them into frictionless product experiences.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering, compliance, commercial teams, and external stakeholders.
- A pragmatic approach to decision-making, balancing long-term vision with near-term execution.
- English, Portuguese and Spanish are a must.
