Supply Chain Manager - Temporary (6 Months)

As Supply Chain Manager, you own operational purchase order execution and supply reliability for your assigned SKU portfolio to ensure seamless inventory flow.

What you'll do

• You place purchase orders, track supplier confirmations, and monitor order execution using ERP, Procuros, and planning tools to prevent out-of-stock situations.
• You continuously follow up on delivery schedules, monitor OTIF performance, identify delays early, and resolve operational bottlenecks with suppliers.
• You align directly with warehouse operations on inbound shipments and resolve receiving discrepancies or arrival issues on a daily basis.
• You verify supplier invoice details and collaborate closely with Accounting and Finance to clear processing holds.
• You enforce supplier adherence to operational, packaging, and receiving standards in daily workflows.
• You lead the supply chain execution for key initiatives, such as new product launches or packaging optimizations, alongside Logistics, Product, and Procurement.

What you'll need

• Relevant professional experience in supply chain management, purchasing execution, operations, or logistics, ideally within an e-commerce, FMCG, or retail environment
• Strong hands-on experience working with ERP systems, inventory management tools, and spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel) to execute purchase orders and monitor inventory
• High problem-solving capacity and operational drive to resolve daily bottlenecks, shipping delays, and warehouse receiving issues proactively
• Structured and detail-oriented approach with a clear focus on data accuracy, process optimization, and operational compliance
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus) to act as a reliable liaison between suppliers, warehouse teams, Finance, and internal key stakeholders
• Location in or around Alzenau or Berlin, with availability for a 6-month temporary contract
