About the role
As Director Supply Chain Planning, you own the two numbers that define a great food supply chain: product availability and inventory health. You lead the end-to-end supply chain of KoRo – including Supply and Inventory Planning (S&OP), as well as Product Ordering & Replenishment, with a mandate to build an intelligent, largely automated supply chain that scales with growth.
What you'll do
- Own product availability and inventory as your core KPIs, with relentless focus on full availability on core assortment while reducing overstock, slow movers and food waste.
- Lead the planning pillars: challenge demand planning, build and develop teams behind supply planning and inventory planning, and raise the bar on craft across the planning organization.
- Design systems, logic and ways of working that move planning and ordering from manual effort toward automation at scale, built around management by exception.
- Work hand in hand with Product Development, Procurement, Retail, Marketing, Logistics, Quality and Data & AI teams to turn commercial ambition into a supply chain that can deliver on it.
- Challenge demand forecasting, encouraging rigor on Retail demand – promotions, listings, SKU switches, seasonality – as well as Online demand.
What you'll need
- A clear track record of transforming and automating supply chain processes – taking planning and ordering from manual and reactive to scalable, system-driven and exception-based.
- Proven leadership building and leading planning or supply chain teams, with ability to develop people while holding a high bar.
- Substantial supply chain experience, including Retail demand planning experience and understanding of retail dynamics. Omnichannel model experience is ideal.
- KPI ownership mindset with full accountability for product availability and inventory health, managing trade-offs with clarity.
- Strong analytical and systems thinking paired with pragmatic, build-and-validate approach.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
What they offer
- Flexible working hours, hybrid work, and 20 days of workation, with 28 days vacation increasing by one day per year (capped at 30).
- Structured onboarding plan and dedicated development budget for growth.
- MacBook, fully equipped office setup with monitors and height-adjustable desks.
- Free snacks and barista coffee, 20% KoRo Shop discount, fully funded BVG ticket and fitness subsidy.
- Company pension scheme via Ginkgo.
- Regular team events and company parties.
