Senior Product Designer, New Ventures

Good Chop is HelloFresh Group's premium meat and seafood subscription — American-sourced, direct-to-consumer, operating in a competitive market where the experience is the product. This is a full-ownership role in a startup-paced environment where you'll partner with Product and Engineering on a cross-functional squad, owning the UX direction as a strategic input.

What you'll do

• Lead design from concept to shipped product, maintaining accountability for the full consumer experience across touchpoints.
• Frame problems before they become briefs and bring evidence-backed consumer insight into squad planning to influence roadmap priorities.
• Hold a high personal bar across UI, interaction design, motion, and UX writing, and raise the standard within the squad.
• Bring enough research depth to frame questions, run lightweight studies independently, and collaborate meaningfully with HelloFresh's central UX research team on more complex investigations.
• Use AI across the full workflow: synthesis, discovery, rapid prototyping, and design-to-code.
• Contribute meaningfully to UX copy and brief content design experts when deeper support is needed.

What you'll need

• Experience working on consumer-facing products with understanding of how real people make decisions and think about retention as a design problem.
• Ability to define the problem before designing the solution and push back on briefs to reframe questions or change roadmap priorities through evidence.
• High-fidelity UI, interaction design, motion, micro-interaction, and UX writing mastery with non-negotiable Figma expertise.
• Comfort owning the full width of the work — strategy, research, execution, content, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to present clearly, facilitate alignment across functions, and make the case for decisions with evidence.
• Research fluency to frame questions, run lightweight studies, and translate findings into design direction independently.
• Active use of AI tools in live project work across synthesis, discovery, prototyping, and design-to-code.
