Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Configurator Team, you will help shape the future of how buildings are designed, planned, and visualised at GROPYUS. You will develop the core planning and configuration platform used to create project layouts, floor plans, and visual representations during the sales and planning phases.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of solutions from design through production
• Develop interactive planning and configuration tools
• Create services that generate project assets such as floor plans and visualisations
• Enable seamless orchestration of planning workflows across the platform
• Contribute to code quality and engineering best practices
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver reliable and scalable products

What you'll need

• Strong full-stack engineering experience developing and operating production software across frontend and backend systems
• Strong experience with React and modern TypeScript-based web applications
• Professional experience developing backend services with Kotlin
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating systems on Azure, AWS, GCP, or a similar cloud platform
• Experience building integrations using messaging systems, event buses, service buses, or event-streaming platforms
• Strong understanding of modern design patterns

Nice to have

• Interest in building AI-powered product features and integrating modern AI capabilities into user workflows
• Experience with highly available and resilient systems
• Experience building graphical or visualisation-heavy applications using Fabric.js, Three.js, WebGL, CAD-like tooling, or similar frameworks
