Product Manager - Production Platform

As a Product Manager for our Production Platform you will drive digital solutions that connect manufacturing equipment, production systems, and operational data into a scalable and reliable production ecosystem. You will work with software engineers and manufacturing / automation experts to define products and services that support production control, validation and simulation services in the design and series operation phases of manufacturing as well as solutions for maintaining proper operational transparency.

What you'll do

• Drive end-to-end product development, from discovery through delivery and iteration with a focus on process creation and improvement, scoping manufacturing system integration, operational data availability, and simulation of manufacturing processes / production capabilities
• Translate business needs into clear product roadmaps, and actionable requirements
• Ensure alignment of product goals with business objectives, operational efficiency, and customer needs
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and stakeholders to build and launch high-impact solutions
• Use data and user feedback to inform decisions, validate solutions, and continuously improve products
• Develop a deep understanding of production processes, machine capabilities, operational workflows, and constraints
• Support efforts in product standardization, complexity reduction, and cost optimization

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in B2B, industrial technology, manufacturing, automation, or platform environments
• Experience working with software products and technical systems in manufacturing, automation, industrial data, simulation, machine integration, or related technology domains
• Proven success in driving digital product initiatives and delivering outcomes in cross-functional environments involving engineering, software development, and operational stakeholders
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, strong collaboration and the ability to align diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with agile product development methodologies
