Medical Data Intern

Join the Terminology and Ontology team within the Medical Excellence department at Doctolib in Berlin. In this role, you will contribute to making medical information clear, structured, and usable across products for patients, healthcare professionals, and technical teams.

What you'll do

• Collect and format sets of terms describing pathologies, allergies, treatments, and other medical concepts, based on standard medical terminologies such as ICD-10 and SNOMED CT.
• Adapt medical labels to create versions that are understandable to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Translate labels from English into German.
• Map medical lists of terms across different products.
• Select and filter terms, then validate your choices with medical experts.
• Share your work and methodology with the Terminology and Ontology team and product teams.
• Deliver sets of terms to technical teams in the correct format.

What you'll need

• Medical skills gained through a diploma or degree that includes medical-domain learning.
• Knowledge of data management.
• Familiarity with medical terminologies such as ICD-10 and SNOMED CT.
• Strong spreadsheet skills, including Google Sheets or Excel and the use of formulas.
• Attentiveness to detail and rigour in your work.
• Fluency in German and English.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools such as Claude.
• Python programming skills.
• Additional depth of medical knowledge.
• Dutch language skills.
