Applied AI Engineer

You'll build the AI systems that power legal work at Compound Law. Document understanding, contract analysis, automated workflows, client-facing tools. Architect multi-agent systems, build evaluation pipelines, and ship production features using AI coding agents as your primary tool.

What you'll do

• Build and ship production AI systems using Claude Code, Codex, or similar agents. Your daily workflow is agent-first.
• Design multi-agent architectures for complex legal workflows. Orchestration, memory, tool use, evaluation.
• Create robust evaluation frameworks. Legal AI needs to be reliable. You'll build the systems that ensure it is.
• Ship fast. Multiple production deploys per week.

What you'll need

• You already use Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar AI coding agents daily. Show us your workflow.
• You've built production systems with LLMs. Agents, RAG, fine-tuning, evals. Real systems in production.
• You understand that AI changes how we build. You've adapted your entire approach.
• You ship fast. You iterate faster.
