Senior Salesforce Developer

On the Inventory team you own the Service and Sales Cloud layer that carries transactions: Apex, LWC, Platform Events, and the two-way integration that keeps Salesforce and our core system in step.

What you'll do

• Build and customise Service Cloud and Sales Cloud solutions that carry dealer and buyer processes end to end
• Own Apex classes, Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages across the Inventory team's scope
• Design and maintain the two-way integration between Salesforce and our core platform (REST APIs, Platform Events, event-driven flows)
• Decide where standard configuration is enough and where custom development earns its place
• Design data models and API integrations that keep transaction data consistent between Salesforce and backend systems
• Take ownership of underused platform features and reduce technical debt in the existing codebase
• Secure reliability and performance through monitoring, release management and clean deployment practice

What you'll need

• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, with Service Cloud and Sales Cloud in production
• Deep command of Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
• Strong relational data modelling with SOQL and SQL
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and Salesforce integration patterns (REST APIs, Platform Events)
• Clear judgement on standard platform configuration versus custom development
• Comfortable in release management and scrum frameworks, and able to carry a technical argument in a business conversation
• English at C1 level, written and spoken

Nice to have

• Salesforce certifications, particularly Platform Developer I or II, or Service Cloud Consultant
• German at B2 level
• Experience mentoring other developers and reviewing their work
