QA Lead

We're looking for a hands on QA Lead who sees quality as a product problem, not just a testing problem. You'll own quality end-to-end, sitting between Product and Engineering to ensure we ship fast without compromising user experience. You'll be given problems, not step-by-step instructions, and need to identify where quality risks exist, decide how best to solve them, and implement the right processes, tooling, and testing strategy.

What you'll do

• Own quality across the entire product lifecycle, from feature design through to production monitoring.
• Develop and execute a modern QA strategy that balances manual testing, automation, and production observability.
• Introduce AI-powered tools and workflows to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and speed.
• Build and maintain end-to-end automated test suites.
• Decide where manual exploratory testing delivers the highest value and ensure critical user journeys are thoroughly validated.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to identify risks early and embed quality into development.

What you'll need

• Strong experience owning software quality in modern product teams.
• Experience balancing manual testing, automation, and production monitoring rather than specialising exclusively in one area.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated tests, ideally using Playwright.
• A solid understanding of modern QA practices, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and testing strategies.
• Experience introducing AI tools or AI-assisted workflows into software testing and quality processes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence Product and Engineering teams through data and practical decision-making.
