About the role: What's in the Box We are looking for an experienced marketing/performance Director to lead the newly formed Marketing Strategy and Operations (StratOps) function. HelloFresh Group operates a sophisticated marketing organization with global centres of excellence managing digital marketing and CRM channels, and local marketing teams driving local performance, strategy and brand activations. The challenge is making this matrix work: ensuring marketing investment flows to where it creates the most value, that global capabilities serve local market realities, and that the organization learns and adapts fast. We've built a global Strategy & Operations function to solve this, and hiring its first global leader to design the decision architecture that connects global marketing scale with local execution: the systems, governance, and routines that determine how we set targets, allocate capital across channels and markets, and course-correct in-flight. What you’ll do: The Recipe • Marketing investment strategy — building the process that translates incrementality signals and market-level economics into portfolio-wide budget allocation decisions across channels and geographies. • Performance governance — designing and running the operating rhythm to meet targets. • Planning architecture — driving the budgeting cycle end-to-end, working with finance to connect marketing planning to business-level targets. • The team — building a small core team and leading a broader community of practitioners across regions under a shared model you'll design. What you’ll bring: The Ingredients • Experience in performance marketing, growth strategy, marketing finance, or strategy consulting — with genuine fluency in digital marketing economics (CAC, LTV, incrementality, channel mix). • You've built operating models or decision frameworks that changed how an organization steers — not just reported on performance, but shaped how performance gets managed. • You can move between the strategic (how should we think about investment across markets?) and the concrete (what specifically needs to change this week?) without losing altitude on either. Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. There are many different ways of developing skills, and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.
