Your Responsibilities • Define the technical roadmap and strategic direction of the RegTech Engineering team, aligned with business goals, compliance mandates, and Information Security requirements • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of RegTech Engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement • Architect and oversee the development of secure, scalable systems focused on Identity and Access Management and regulatory automation • Drive the design, integration, and maintenance of governance and compliance tooling including GRC platforms, CMDB systems, and automated reporting pipelines • Ensure systems meet audit standards, operational resilience frameworks, and regulatory requirements such as DORA, SOC2, and ISO 27001 • Champion engineering best practices including secure coding, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment pipelines • Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, Audit, Security, and Engineering teams to translate regulatory complexity into robust technical solutions • Advance automation and AI-driven approaches to replace manual workflows with reliable, scalable systems Your Profile • Experience: 7+ years of engineering experience with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role, ideally within a regulated FinTech, Banking, or high-security environment. • Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in designing scalable, secure architectures and microservices. Strong hands-on proficiency in Python, with additional experience in Go or Java considered a plus. Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and building or maintaining CI and CD pipelines. • Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of financial and security regulations such as DORA, FCA, SOC2, and ISO 27001, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into scalable engineering solutions. • Automation & AI Focus: Demonstrated experience leveraging AI, machine learning, or advanced automation to solve complex operational and compliance challenges. Passionate about replacing manual workflows with reliable, code-based systems. • Tooling Expertise: Experience building, integrating, or maintaining governance, risk, and compliance tooling including IAM systems, GRC platforms, CMDB environments, and automated audit and reporting pipelines, ensuring continuous audit readiness. • Leadership: Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across Security, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering, and to foster a culture of security-first, high-performance engineering.
