Fullstack Platform Engineer

WePush is looking for an experienced Fullstack Platform Engineer who enjoys architecture, infrastructure, and running real systems in production end-to-end. This is a hands-on startup role where you'll build backend features, improve infrastructure, and own what you ship from design to production.

What you'll do

• Build backend services and APIs for campaigns, creator matching, marketplace operations, and payments.
• Design clear domain models, database schemas, and service boundaries.
• Build reliable background jobs that handle concurrency, retries, and failures correctly.
• Contribute to Web, Android, and iOS frontend when features require end-to-end ownership.
• Improve deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, backups, and recovery.
• Debug issues across application code, databases, infrastructure, and third-party APIs.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions while continuing to ship quickly.
• Use AI coding agents as a core part of your daily development workflow.

What you'll need

• Strong backend engineering experience in production environments.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, relational databases, transactions, locking, and data modelling.
• Experience with Docker, Linux, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.
• A good understanding of queues, scheduled jobs, APIs, networking, security, and observability.
• Confidence reasoning about concurrency, idempotency, partial failures, and recovery.
• Strong debugging skills across the full system.
• Experience using AI coding agents to plan, implement, test, review, and document software.
• The ability to critically review, iterate on, and improve AI-generated code until it is high-quality and production-ready.

Nice to have

• Startup experience or a strong bias toward ownership and execution.
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or Hack.
