Asset Operations Intern

As Asset Operations Intern, you support the day-to-day operations of our growing BESS portfolio, sitting at the intersection of technical performance, commercial operations, and internal coordination. You help keep our assets running reliably by supporting maintenance coordination, assisting with invoice checks and OPEX controlling, and building the reporting discipline that gives the team transparency on critical KPIs.

What you'll do

• Support the daily technical operations and coordinate maintenance activities for our physical BESS portfolio.
• Assist with invoice verification, OPEX controlling, and Balancing Responsible Party (BKV) management.
• Prepare monthly operations reports and track critical technical KPIs (e.g., Availability, Cycles, Efficiency).
• Take ownership of onboarding new assets and maintaining accurate technical and contractual data in our systems.
• Support general operational and administrative topics across the business, helping keep internal processes and documentation running smoothly.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), Renewable Energy, or a related technical STEM field.
• Strong affinity for data; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is required.
• Fluency in both German and English is required.
• A valid Class B driving license.
• Proactive, organized, and eager to learn about energy storage operations.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of Python or SQL.
