Senior Financial Accountant - Spanish PGC ( m/w/d)

As Scout24 continues to grow its business in Spain, you'll take full ownership of Spanish General Ledger Accounting. You'll work closely with the Finance team in Barcelona, ensuring accurate financial reporting while helping to shape and optimize accounting processes.

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Spanish GAAP (PGC), ensuring a timely fast-close process.
• Analyze complex accounting matters, perform account reconciliations and clarifications, and ensure high quality of financial statements.
• Document relevant finance processes and controls, further develop existing closing processes, and ensure compliance with them.
• Support the implementation and further development of ERP and finance systems and contribute to continuous optimization of the accounting landscape.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and use AI tools in a targeted way to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
• Work closely with international Finance teams, actively share your knowledge within the team, and contribute to continuous development of how we work.

What you'll need

• Several years of professional experience in general ledger accounting, as well as solid experience in preparing standalone financial statements under IFRS and Spanish GAAP (PGC).
• Strong understanding of group structures and experience with fast-close processes; experience in a listed company is a plus.
• Proven experience in optimizing and standardizing finance processes, as well as strong motivation to actively drive change.
• Structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented working style with ability to keep overview when dealing with complex topics.
• Very good written and spoken Spanish and English skills, as well as good German skills. Experience with Oracle NetSuite or comparable finance systems is an advantage.
• Experience in effectively using AI tools to increase productivity and solve problems.
