About the role
The People Solutions team serves as the strategic engine room of Raisin's People & Culture team by building a secure, data-driven, and compliant infrastructure that scales the organization. In this role, you will establish People policy and process standards, ensure AI-readiness and ethical governance, and serve as the compliance anchor managing audits, policies, and risk across the organization.
What you'll do
- Establish People policy and process standards by authoring, reviewing, and maintaining the global and local People policy frameworks, ensuring all documentation is logical, accessible, and structured according to company standards.
- Review existing policies and processes to ensure they are compliant with emerging AI regulations, address corresponding risks, and protect employee data privacy.
- Partner with the wider People Solutions team to ensure that automated People processes and AI-driven tools have clear human-in-the-loop overrides and ethical safeguards.
- Design, implement, and maintain a Risk and Controls Framework specifically for People processes aligned with Raisin's global compliance framework.
- Track upcoming changes in employment law, data protection, and AI regulations and proactively update policies and processes accordingly.
- Conduct regular spot-checks and internal mini-audits to ensure teams are executing People processes strictly according to documented standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal, external, and third-party People audits and governance-related reporting requests.
- Manage documentation requests from external supervisory bodies, labor ministries, and regulatory agencies.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 2–3 years focused explicitly on HR Compliance, HR Audit, or People Operations Governance.
- Strong People domain knowledge including People processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Direct experience drafting, structuring, and maintaining comprehensive HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Deep understanding of regional employment standards, labor laws, and strict data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and foundational knowledge of emerging frameworks such as the EU AI Act.
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to understand how data flows through an HRIS and act as a bridge between legal/audit teams and People teams.
- Fluency in English and professional working proficiency in German.
What they offer
- Employee Development Budget of €2,000 and four full training days per year.
- Flexible working hours, home office and 30 vacation days.
- Company pension scheme with 20% company support.
- Urban Sports Club subsidy of €20+ per month.
- Deutschland Ticket subsidy of €25 per month.
- Relocation support available.
