As a Documentation Specialist, you will shape how knowledge is created, structured, and shared at Parloa, turning complex product and AI concepts into clear, reliable, and accessible documentation for internal teams, customers, and partners. This is your opportunity to become a trusted source of truth for Parloa's flagship product, AMP, as the company scales its documentation practice from the ground up.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain clear, accurate, user-friendly documentation, including product documentation, SOPs, knowledge bases, and release notes.
- Structure and organize information so it's easy to find, reuse, and scale across teams and audiences.
- Own and continuously improve documentation standards, templates, and style guides to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on docs-as-code workflows when needed.
- Partner closely with subject-matter experts across Product, Engineering, Support, Legal, and other teams to capture and validate knowledge, translating complex technical and AI concepts for different audiences.
- Keep documentation current in a fast-moving product environment with frequent releases, contributing to key initiatives like documenting AMP as new capabilities are communicated and adopted.
What you'll need
- 4+ years of experience owning documentation in a scaling SaaS, AI, or product-driven company
- Strong background in both technical and customer-facing documentation, such as product docs, APIs, and help centers
- Proven experience building and scaling documentation standards, templates, and processes, partnering closely with product and engineering teams on fast, frequent releases
- Confidence translating AI or agent-based concepts into clear, structured guidance for non-expert audiences
- Experience in cross-functional teams collaborating with Instructional Designers, Trainers and other teams across the organization
- 1+ years experience working in fast paced, docs-as-code environments
- A structured, detail-oriented mindset with strong ownership, product thinking, and a focus on user journeys, enablement, and adoption
