About the role
As a Founder's Associate, you will work closely with the Founder and CEO and leadership team to help drive the company's strategic priorities and operational execution. You will take ownership of high-impact, cross-functional projects across the business, ranging from supporting strategic initiatives in commercial, product, and operations teams to improving internal processes and helping ensure alignment as the company scales.
What you'll do
- Support the Founder and CEO on strategic and operational projects that drive company goals and priorities.
- Analyse market developments, competitor dynamics, and trends across the European brokerage, wealth, and investment infrastructure landscape.
- Take ownership of special projects that support the next stage of lemon.markets' growth, with a special focus on brokerage, custody and capital markets.
- Lead and mentor the Founder's Associate Intern team, providing structure, guidance, and prioritisation across projects while helping develop their skills and ensuring high-quality execution.
- Contribute to refining and scaling internal processes, documentation, and operating structures across the company.
- Help develop, structure, and execute cross-functional initiatives across teams.
- Act as a connector across the organisation by understanding team priorities, spotting gaps and blockers early, and helping drive effective cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll need
- A background (bachelor and master degree) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer science or a similar area.
- 2 years or more of hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in an early-stage startup, fintech, consulting, tech company or similar.
- Experience from the world of brokerage, trading or custody and/or deep excitement to get into the details of making anyone an investor.
- Entrepreneurial problem-solving mindset with analytical skills, structured thinking, and independent working style.
- Ability to cope well with frequent change and ambiguity, think logically, break down complex problems and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Team player mentality with willingness to learn new tools and skills on the go.
- Data-driven, analytical mindset with understanding of financial modeling and readiness to take full ownership.
