Legal Counsel

As Legal Counsel, you own your matters end to end: enterprise contracts, data protection, the regulation that applies to an AI company, compliance and employment law for a growing team. Often you will be the person who gets a deal signed.

What you'll do

• Work directly with customers. Negotiate customer agreements from first call to signature, including DPAs, security and AI terms, DORA addenda for financial services.
• Solve open questions. Translate new regulations like the AI Act, DORA, NIS2, the Data Act and the sector rules our customers work under into concrete requirements for our product.
• Build the future cloud. Shape the contracts behind our data center and new cloud services, from power and hardware to the terms our customers sign.
• Keep the company running. Advise internally on employment law, do corporate housekeeping, own our data protection program, and support in keeping our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance current.
• Use Langdock constantly. Build and maintain the agents, playbooks and evals behind our self-serve legal tools.

What you'll need

• Qualified lawyer with at least two years of experience in-house at a technology company or advising one. You have negotiated SaaS agreements and DPAs with enterprise counterparties.
• You have built something – an agent, a workflow, a clause library, a script, a template system.
• You want to understand the technology behind the products you advise on. You are technical enough to know how SaaS products are built: databases, APIs, integrations, basic architecture.
• You can write and reason clearly and can tell which risks should stop a deal or feature.
• Fluent in German and English.
• A kind person who cares about the people around you.
