Lead a cross functional team of Soil Scientists and Software Engineers to develop and implement SOC models as the foundation of Klim's platform. Own and drive the product roadmap for carbon, biodiversity, and broader soil science and agronomic models.

What you'll do

  • Translate scientific models into clear product requirements and features
  • Align modelling work with product and company goals
  • Drive execution from concept to production
  • Improve accuracy and scalability of carbon models as the core system
  • Expand models to include agronomic metrics, new practices, and new geographies
  • Lead and prioritise the work of a cross functional team of scientists and engineers
  • Partner with MRV, Farmer Sales, and other product teams to ensure models meet regulatory requirements and integrate into the platform
  • Incorporate client and market insights into product decisions to maximise commercial impact

What you'll need

  • 3 to 6 years of product management experience, ideally in data/scientific heavy or technical products
  • Proven track record of shipping products end to end
  • Strong ability to understand complex models at a high level, including their assumptions, limitations, and implications for product decisions
  • Translate complex technical topics for non technical audiences
  • Strong prioritization and problem solving
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast changing environment with evolving requirements and constraints
  • English required

Nice to have

  • Degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as physics, engineering, environmental science, mathematics, or similar
  • German language skills
