Senior UI/UX Designer joining the Creative Studio as the primary design owner of the HOLY Shop. You'll be responsible for the customer journey and design quality across the entire Shop from homepage to checkout across four markets, building the design system, creating conversion-driving experiences, and partnering with external developers and the Shop team.
What you'll do
- Build, govern, and scale HOLY's Figma component library as the foundation for visual consistency and on-brand execution across the Shop.
- Lead optimization of HOLY's highest-impact pages, translating brand narrative into experiences that educate and convert.
- Write precise, documented design specs for external developers and QA their output in staging to catch regressions before deploy.
- Design responsive experiences across all breakpoints with mobile as the primary canvas for ~89% of traffic.
- Design upsell and conversion mechanics in collaboration with the CRO Manager.
- Deliver new pages at pace for flavor and product launches while maintaining design system consistency.
- Contribute to A/B testing hypotheses and use analytics to inform design decisions.
- Act as the bridge between Creative Studio and Shop team, collaborating with developers, CRM, and the CRO Manager.
What you'll need
- 5-8 years designing for conversion-driven D2C or e-commerce brands with a strong mobile-first portfolio.
- Ability to read HTML, CSS, and Liquid; understands Shopify theme architecture and metaobject concepts.
- Advanced Figma expertise with components, variants, auto-layout, and experience building or governing component libraries at scale.
- Ability to interpret and apply HOLY's brand guidelines to Shop UI while maintaining visual consistency.
- Self-directed, proactive, detail-oriented; drives work end-to-end and raises standards.
- English working proficiency required; German is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with A/B testing, motion and interaction design, accessibility (WCAG), Shopify-specific design, Google Analytics 4, and AI tools.
