Direct Buyer

About the role

As Direct Buyer, you'll sit at the heart of one of the fastest-moving parts of the business — sourcing the devices that power Grover's subscription catalogue across Europe. You'll report to the Head of Procurement and work closely with Category Management, with real ownership and visible impact from day one.

What you'll do

• Own one of the fastest-growing categories — mainly smart home, TV and audio, with exposure across the wider portfolio
• Source stock at the right price, finding available inventory while hitting a 15–20% discount vs RRP
• Develop the procurement strategy behind your categories
• Attend trade fairs and industry events as you bring new products on board
• Handle new and B-stock sourcing, OEM relationships and supplier negotiations

What you'll need

• 1–3 years' experience in procurement, buying or supply chain — ecommerce or tech preferred
• Strong negotiation and communication skills — comfortable talking directly with suppliers
• An analytical mindset — confident working with data and spreadsheets
• Organised and detail-oriented — able to manage multiple workstreams at once
• Fluent English; another European language is a bonus

Nice to have

• Knowledge of consumer electronics categories (mobile, audio, smart home, TV)
