About the role
Fire Safety Design and Product Development for timber buildings in building class 4 and 5, implementing state-of-the-art solutions in our residential building product through series and change management.
What you'll do
- Fire Safety Design and Product Development for timber buildings in building class 4 and 5
- Implementation of state-of-the-art solutions in our residential Building Product
- Constant and controlled evolution of the Product within the Series- and Change Management
- Coordination with design disciplines like Architecture, Engineering, MEP, Building Physics, Acoustics, and Energy Design
- Contribute to the improvement of short-term and long-term certification strategies of our building product
- Design and coordinate physical tests in the GROPYUS prototyping center at our factory and with external testing institutes
- Communication with external consultants, authorities, and institutes
What you'll need
- Proficiency in relevant German and/or Austrian regulations and codes
- Project experience in LP5+ project stage in Germany and/or Austria
- Experience in timber construction
- Fluent English and German skills
Nice to have
- Experience in residential buildings of building class 4 and/or 5
- Experience in certification of products
- Experience in Rhino or Revit, alternatively AutoCad
