About the role

Lead a team delivering cross-functional projects, processes and product features to improve site experience, inventory curation and marketplace business aspects. This is a maternity cover position on a fixed-term contract.

What you'll do

  • Lead & develop a team that delivers cross-functional projects, processes and product features to improve site experience, inventory curation and other aspects of our marketplace business.
  • Create & drive proposals to test, validate, and scale content optimizations that positively impact all sides of our marketplace (growth, travelers and suppliers).
  • Formulate a mid-long term vision & roadmap that brings these into a coherent picture and support strategy formulation for the department and stakeholders.
  • Identify incompletions in our Merchandising & Content set-up, align and/or implement solutions with stakeholders across the business.
  • Analyze data to evaluate product, marketing and process performance, uncover opportunities, and leverage insights to create buy-in and influence teams' roadmaps.
  • Improve operational excellence through metricizing, playbook generation and Tech adoption.

What you'll need

  • 7+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced, built-for-scale environment in project management, product management or business analysis (2+ years in a leadership role) or 5+ years in strategic management consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex customer problems and to manage large, cross-functional projects and stakeholder groups under considerable ambiguity.
  • Experience working at the intersection of Product, Marketing and Operations.
  • You effortlessly switch altitude between highly conceptual discussions and diving into the details & taking specific action steps to deliver.
  • Highly analytical and comfortable using business intelligence tools and various data visualization concepts.
  • Superb written and verbal English communication skills across different audiences and can quickly build relationships with stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a similar set-up in a two-sided digital marketplace or Consumer Tech scale-up.
  • Skills in data extraction using SQL and/or Python.
  • Experience launching data products or exposure to LLMs.
