You get the chance to build: validate and prototype new initiatives, products, or business lines inside VARM, with real ownership from day one. You operate with founder-level autonomy – defining problems, testing hypotheses, and deciding what's worth scaling – while drawing on VARM's resources, data, and network.

What you'll do

• Validate and prototype new initiatives, products, or business lines with real ownership from day one
• Define problems, test hypotheses, and decide what's worth scaling
• Work closely with the CEO and founding team, translating ambiguous opportunities into structured projects with clear outcomes

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment, consulting, investment banking, or VC – for example as a Strategy Consultant, Management Consultant, Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, VC Analyst/Associate, Founder's Associate, Business Analyst, Business Operations Manager, or Project Manager; or at least 2 years of experience as a Founder, Co-Founder, or Managing Director of your own company
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with a proactive, hands-on mindset
• Fluent communication in both English and German, written and verbal, conveying complex ideas concisely to different audiences
• Thrive in dynamic, rapidly changing environments as a self-starter with high sense of ownership, strong work ethic, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to work independently
• Passionate about contributing to energy-efficient buildings and a sustainable future
