We are looking for a Business Systems Engineer: a business-first problem solver who delivers solutions based in existing products like Salesforce, n8n, make.com, etc. You bridge business needs and technical delivery across customer-facing, stakeholder-facing, and internal contexts, and you build robust, maintainable solutions across our business-systems stack rather than through click-based configuration.
What you'll do
- Bridge business needs and technical delivery — across customer-facing, stakeholder-facing, and internal contexts — and stay accountable for the outcome, not just the ticket.
- Deliver robust, maintainable solutions in code across our stack: Salesforce (Revenue Cloud, Field Service), JustOn, Payhawk, n8n, Make, etc — favouring code, version control, and tested change over point-and-click configuration.
- Guide the platform's design: give best-practice guidance to the software engineers who own Salesforce data objects and key flows, and be the deep product knowledge they rely on.
- Enable others — raise the capability of software engineers, product managers, and designers through pairing, review, documentation, and teaching.
- Improve the business systems and the processes they support, leaving them measurably better than you found them.
What you'll need
- A business-first problem solver who leads with the problem and the outcome, comfortable in customer-facing, stakeholder-facing, and internal settings.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of the platforms in our stack: Salesforce (Revenue Cloud, Field Service), JustOn, Payhawk, n8n, Make, and Claude.
- Technically minded — with the help of AI, you deliver robust, maintainable solutions in code, not click-based configuration, with the version control, testing, and review habits that implies.
- An enabler of others, with a track record of levelling up the people around you.
- Proven at improving business systems and the processes they support.
- AI-first — you use AI tooling fluently as a default way of working.
Nice to have
- Real depth in Salesforce Revenue Cloud or Field Service.
- Field-service, billing and finance systems, or subsidy-heavy B2C domains.
- Comfort building automations and lightweight services outside the CRM (n8n, Make, or custom code).
