Join our dynamic People Operations team as a key HR point of contact for employees. In this Berlin-based role, you will help drive impactful HR processes, support global operations, and enhance the employee experience from onboarding through ongoing engagement.

What you'll do

  • Act as the main point of contact for the People Operations team, primarily supporting employees based in Germany and secondarily those in the United States
  • Provide backup support for other regions as needed, helping ensure continuity of People Operations services across locations
  • Drive our pre-onboarding and onboarding process - make sure our new team members feel integrated and welcome from day one
  • Draft employment contracts, amendments, certificates, confirmation letters and other required documents
  • Assist employees with relocation and immigration processes in collaboration with our external partners
  • Support employees with inquiries regarding time-off management and entitlement, e.g. sick leave, maternity & parental leave in line with local regulations and company policies
  • Prepare payroll data input and liaise with our external vendor, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records to ensure compliance

What you'll need

  • 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, ideally in a fast-growing environment, with a strong understanding of operational best practices and compliance requirements
  • Fluency in English
  • Professional proficiency in German (B2 level or above) preferred
  • Experience with HRIS and ticketing systems, with the ability to leverage technology to support HR operations and employee services
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets for reporting and organizing HR data
