Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats in fintech and digital financial services. You will develop and maintain security policies, procedures and standards, provide guidance on security best practices, and lead incident investigations related to digital financial services and financial data breaches.
What you'll do
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and standards specific to fintech and digital financial services.
- Provide guidance and training to other engineers and staff on security best practices and industry trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate security considerations in the development and deployment of new financial services and systems.
- Lead incident investigations related to digital financial services and financial data breaches and provide reports to management.
- Research and stay current on industry security trends and technologies specific to fintech and digital financial services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial data protection regulations and standards.
- Contribute to incident response and disaster recovery planning and execution.
What you'll need
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years in Cybersecurity or Software Engineering roles in a high-growth environment.
- Proven experience within core tech stack.
- Understands agile workflows and lean principles.
- Business proficient written and spoken English. German language skills is a plus.
- Proactive team player who actively drives the growth of those around you with a structured, hands-on approach and genuine curiosity.
