As Seqana scales, we are looking for a highly capable Senior Data Product Manager to serve as the critical bridge between market needs and our advanced technical execution. This role carries a dual mandate: driving product maturity by scaling and hardening our existing data product portfolio, and accelerating strategic growth by independently owning significant growth pillars and new product opportunities.
What you'll do
- Translating strategic business objectives into clear system requirements and actionable user stories, ensuring technical blueprints align with scalable architectures.
- Take end-to-end ownership of specific segments within our existing product portfolio, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initial discovery through to successful delivery and maintenance.
- For new, unstandardized workflows and features, operate seamlessly in 'Discovery Mode' alongside Tech, prioritizing rapid testing and iteration.
- Work closely with the Chief Product Officer to explore and validate new product opportunities, expanding Seqana's market presence and scaling our overall climate impact.
- Own internal dashboard products by defining business requirements and metrics that enable data-driven technical strategy, sales narratives, and model performance evaluation.
What you'll need
- STEM degree or comparable professional experience in a technical setting.
- At least 4 years spent managing products, with a proven ability to lead and scale technical products.
- Proficiency in day-to-day operations, including crafting actionable user stories, overseeing backlogs, and setting long-term measurable outcomes (OKRs/KPIs).
- Strong verbal and written skills, specifically the knack for making scientific and data-heavy concepts accessible.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift between long-term vision and rapid delivery.
- Proficient in English.
Nice to have
- Direct experience or familiarity with Machine Learning, geospatial data, Earth Observation (EO), remote sensing, or process based models.
- Practical knowledge of applied statistics.
- Prior experience in the AgTech, Carbon Market, or agricultural supply chains.
- Familiarity with Python, CLI-based workflows, and dashboarding tools.
What they offer
- Competitive salary and equity options.
- 500€ training budget and continuous learning opportunities.
- Flexible hours, home-office opportunities, and casual pet-friendly office environment.
- 30 days of paid vacation.
- Drinks, snacks, team events, and your choice of hardware.
