About the role
You will lead the analysis, design, implementation, optimization, and enhancement of spacecraft attitude determination and control systems. Additionally, you will play a key role in our effort to increase vertical integration by developing critical components in-house.
What you'll do
- Translate mission and system-level requirements into detailed AOCS subsystem specifications.
- Perform trade-off studies for component evaluations (e.g., sensors and actuators).
- Implement GNC algorithms to support various operational scenarios and pointing modes.
- Conduct AOCS system verification throughout the lifecycle, including processor-in-the-loop (PIL), hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), Monte Carlo simulations, and AIT.
- Work closely with the flight software team to deploy AOCS software onto the spacecraft's embedded controller.
What you'll need
- Strong knowledge in state estimation, control law design, and orbital and classical dynamics.
- Proficiency in building complex simulations and dynamic models using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Good understanding of satellite systems, mission analysis, and satellite operations.
- Solid grasp of spacecraft attitude control and determination hardware, including sensors and actuators.
- Experience with model-based design verification: MIL, SIL, PIL, and HIL.
- Proven ability to independently solve complex engineering challenges and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of embedded software architecture, focusing on real-time control systems.
What they offer
- Company-sponsored Urban Sports Club membership and public transport discount.
- Annual training budget of 1,500 EUR.
- 20% contribution to private pension plan.
- Hybrid work model with flexible working hours.
- 30 days paid vacation plus company holiday on April 12th.
