About the role

As a Mechatronics Technician at Reflex Aerospace, you will assemble, solder, test, troubleshoot, and rework electronic boards, modules, PCBs, cables, and harnesses for high-performance satellite technology. You will play a pivotal role in building and integrating cable harnesses and electronic assemblies for satellite avionics and subsystem applications.

What you'll do

  • Assemble, solder, test, troubleshoot, and rework electronic boards, modules, PCBs, cables, and harnesses.
  • Build, verify, and integrate cable harnesses and electronic assemblies for satellite avionics and subsystem applications.
  • Perform electrical measurements, inspections, and fault diagnostics to ensure product quality, reliability and compliance.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, work instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Assemble, integrate, inspect, and disassemble satellite engineering models, prototypes, and subsystem demonstrators.
  • Support environmental and functional test campaigns, including setup, execution, data collection, and post-test activities.
  • Support engineering teams during development, validation, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
  • Manage component inventory, production documentation, laboratory operations, equipment maintenance and safety compliance.

What you'll need

  • Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician, Electronics Technician, or a related technical field.
  • Hands-on experience in assembling, integrating and testing electro-mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in soldering, cable harness manufacturing and PCB assembly/rework.
  • Experience with electrical measurements, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings, schematics and assembly instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and documentation in a laboratory or production environment.
  • High-quality workmanship with Class 3 electronics.
  • Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Altium Designer, laboratory equipment, aerospace hardware, or Python.
