The Corporate Services Risk Controlling & Regulatory Reporting team is a key function in our Engineering department to enable financial reporting. We work at the intersection of data engineering, financial operations, and cloud-native software development, using technologies like dbt, Apache Airflow, Snowflake, AWS to deliver scalable solutions that meet both engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
What you'll do
- Collaborate on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines to process and analyse large data volumes using Snowflake, Looker, Airflow, and dbt.
- Monitor and improve the health, reliability, and performance of our data pipelines.
- Design, build, and iterate on AI-powered skills and automations using Cursor to enhance developer productivity and streamline team workflows.
- Contribute to technical documentation (including runbooks and system design documents in Confluence).
- Assist in translating business requirements into technical steps and help coordinate project deliverables.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of Python programming fundamentals.
- Familiarity with SQL and working with relational or analytical databases.
- Basic understanding of data pipelines and ETL concepts (extract, transform, load).
- Ability to work independently while being proactive in asking for guidance.
Nice to have
- Awareness of cloud platforms (ideally AWS).
- Curiosity about AI/LLM-powered workflows and a willingness to experiment with new tools to improve engineering efficiency.
