Join our agile and highly collaborative Investment Services Compliance (WpHG) function. Our lean team structure provides you with a 360-degree view of how a bank ensures investor protection, conducts risk assessments, performs compliance monitoring and reporting, manages conflicts of interest, and supports new investment product launches.
What you'll do
- Support our team by managing compliance, monitoring regulatory requirements, and advising on our investment products ensuring adherence to the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) and BaFin's Minimum Requirements for the Compliance Function (MaComp).
- Analyze how client orders are executed, ensuring market integrity and investor protection in line with MiFID II regulations, SFDR and MAR.
- Assist in evaluating regulatory obligations, managing conflicts of interest, and preparing sharp compliance reports for management and oversight bodies.
- Speak with internal teams and help coordinate internal and external audits.
What you'll need
- You are a student or recent graduate of Business Law, Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Strong interest in investment products and financial markets with a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
- Curious, proactive, and ready to take ownership of sub-projects with guidance.
- Strong German language skills (B2-C1 preferred; B1 acceptable if you have a strong background in the field).

- Initial exposure to financial markets, knowledge of investment products or familiarity with the Securities Trading Act/European regulations.
