Head of Operations

The Head of Operations reports to the Co-CEO and takes ownership of operational excellence company-wide. As Finance, Legal, People, IT and InfoSec, and Compliance grow into their own functions, this person partners with each lead on the operational side of their work and holds the whole together as one system.

What you'll do

• Build the operating engine for growth and scale, owning how the company runs operationally and designing processes that hold up as headcount, revenue, and complexity grow fast.
• Drive operational excellence across every function, accountable for the operational side of finance, people, legal, and the wider back office.
• Bring order to ambiguity, taking complex cross-functional problems and driving them to resolution with all relevant stakeholders.
• Serve as a decision partner, framing trade-offs, surfacing risk early, and turning decisions into action for the leadership team.
• Build and inspire the operations team, hiring, developing, and leading operators to set a standard of execution that raises the bar for everyone.

What you'll need

• High-growth experience, having operated inside a company through rapid scaling and built the processes and structures that scaled through it.
• Global operating experience, having run operations across multiple countries and regions.
• Broad operations ownership, having driven operational excellence across two or more of finance, people, legal, and business operations as a senior generalist.
• A leader operators want to follow, building and developing strong teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in the data, developer tools, or AI market, and comfort working credibly with a technical, research-led team.
• Has built an operations function that grew with a company from startup into real scale.
